Aims
This translation competition is held to encourage the appreciation of Japanese literature around the world and to promote international understanding. The competition is open to entrants from every part of the world.
Recipients of the Grand Prize will be invited to Japan to enhance their translation skills and knowledge of Japanese culture at a university or institute in Shizuoka Prefecture.
